First Session:  5:30pm to 6:30 p.m.  Second Session: 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Please note: Presentations will begin at 5:30 p.m. and at 7:00 p.m.

By attending one of the orientation sessions you and your student will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about Longfellow Middle School

  • Gather information from many of the sports, clubs and activities that we offer

  • Purchase LMS Spiritwear from the PTA

At Longfellow we strive to create a positive and memorable middle school experience for all of our students.  The best middle school experience includes a mixture of strong academic offerings as well as extracurricular and co-curricular activities.  It is important that you and your student begin to not only discuss how to be successful in the classroom but also how to get involved in activities outside of the classroom. Please feel free to  review the extracurricular and co-curricular activities that we offer at Longfellow.

*Please note that last week our school counselors visited all of our elementary schools to talk through course selections for their Allied Arts next year! Each student was given a registration sheet and asked to turn into their 5th grade teacher by Friday January 23rd.

If your child was absent, your teacher should have your registration sheet. If not, a blank one is linked below along with the presentation used.
